About
Katherine Factor is an editor, poet, and children's book author. Her poetry book A Sybil Society won the Interim Test Site Poetry Prize. She has authored three Choose Your Own Adventure interactive novels, including Spies: Mata Hari, Spies: Harry Houdini, and Spies: Spy for Cleopatra.
Her poems and prose are published at Interim, TYPO, Wave Conjunctions, Interim, femaleandfungi.com, Rescue Press, TIGHT, Wesleyan Books, Quarterly West, Poets for Living Waters, Occupy Poetry, DIAGRAM, the Colorado Review, and Coldfront's Poets off Poetry, and via audio at KBOO and WFMU radio.
Katherine earned her MFA in Poetry from the University of Iowa and has held positions as the Poet-in-Residence at Idyllwild Arts Academy and as assistant editor of inter|rupture. She has taught for Augustana College, The University of Iowa, Concordia University, and Interlochen Arts Academy, as well as for summer programs.
